Blog No. 26 – Terrific Two!

That’s right! The Baby Lion turned two years old this year.

Brennan started his birthday celebration with a visit to the local aquarium in the morning with his mom and some friends. Later that afternoon, we had a small family birthday party for him at home. He was so excited about blowing out the candles, that he blew them out before we could even start the “Happy Birthday” song. We must have lit the candles 10 times before we finally figured out that we should light the candles AFTER singing the song.

Brennan received a wooden recorder from his mom (which he broke in 2 minutes), a Mickey Mouse bubble train machine from his dad (which he broke in 10 minutes), and a dinosaur puzzle from his brother (which is still intact – so far).

Brennan also had a group birthday party with three of his friends, Jane, Jo Jo and Morgan, who also turned 2 years old in March. The kids had fun wearing animal sunglasses while playing with the balloons.
